DEXTER has a new bad guy or is it role model ?

May 27, 2009

Sources confirm that John Lithgow is joining the season 4 cast as Walter Simmons, an unassuming suburbanite who has been living a dual life as one of America’s most prolific and deadliest serial killers. When the mad man (who is dubbed the “Trinity Killer” because he always kills in threes) relocates to Miami, Dexter becomes obsessed (or inspired?) by his efficient killing methods and ability to evade capture for almost three decades.

The story so far for next season….

May 19, 2009

CBS has canceled Without A Trace and renewed Numb3rs.

Fox’s official plan for the 2009-10 TV season includes good news for House and Bones fans: The two popular series are staying put on their respective nights. They’ll also boost two returning freshman series: Tim Roth’s Lie to Me has scored the plum après-House berth on Monday, while Fringe will lead out of Bones on Thursday.

Dollhouse will remain in the Fridays-at-9 pm slot.

Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles has officially been powered down. Fox entertainment president Kevin Reilly tells TVGuide.com that no matter how well Christian Bale’s Terminator Salvation theatrical release does, the TV series will not be back.

CBS is disbanding The Unit after four seasons. No talk of another network rescuing it.

BC has pulled the plug on My Name is Earl.

BONES picked up for two more seasons

May 17, 2009

Capping one of the upfront season’s most prolonged back-and-forths over the licensing fee paid by the network to the studio, Fox has decided to renew Bones — for a fifth and sixth season.

Executive producer Hart Hanson announced the pick-up on Saturday, via his Twitter account. Later, Hanson confirmed that Fox had ordered not just one but two more seasons.

Bones likely will be paired on Thursday nights with So You Think You Can Dance, which this year will be launching a fall season veritably on the heels of this summer’s cycle.

Bones joins Lie to Me, Fringe, Dollhouse and 24 as Fox’s officially announced returning dramas for the 2009-10 TV season.
